One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in my life is that we are our own worst enemies. The mental borders we place on ourselves are defining our present and future.

Knowing that you can do anything in your life, why would you choose anything else than something great and wonderful? It’s not as easy as it sounds.

The fact is that today we live very comfortable life. With almost any job you can afford a food on the table, a place to live in and pay your bills.

I am not saying that working something to survive is not okay. I just don’t think that we should stall our personal and professional growth by sticking around the comfort zone and covering in warm blanket.

The fact is that we have limited time on this earth, something that many people fail to realize. If you know you can be gone tomorrow, what would you do today? We should be asking ourselves this question every morning.

Let go of these 20 mental barriers and your life will change almost instantly:

 1. Let go of attachments: Attachment is one of the roots of all suffering. Do not take pride in your possessions which are of temporary nature. We must be grateful for the things we already have because we are more than enough as we are right now.

2. Let go of guilt: Feeling deep sense of guilt in our mind will distract positivity. What could guilt possibly solve? If you name a thing I will agree with you and pull back my words… yeah, that’s what I thought.

3. Let go of self-criticism: A constant fear of self-criticism turns one to a situation of disempowerment. It is very interesting that people who say: “I am not good with names” will never be good with names. If you feed yourself with things you are not good at, there is no chance you are going to improve in them.

4. Let go of prejudices: A prejudiced mind is another serious mental barrier that promotes ill feelings, resentment, turns risky and becomes a serious road block for a good, healthy relationship. If you have preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience, then you are living in an illusion. As a matter of fact, what you say about people, doesn’t really say much about them, but it says a lot about you.

5. Let go of Negative thinking: Negativity creates a dark aura that does not permit optimism to seep in. Your thoughts portray themselves in the physical reality. Would you put cr*p on your food and eat it? Then why would you do that to your brain?

Instead, ask yourself: Why did this situation make me feel angry? Why they didn’t meet with my expectations? Was it something that I did that made them act like they did? These questions will reveal a lot about you which you can use to improve yourself.

9. Let go of limiting beliefs: Our beliefs are the basic pillars in our consciousness. If you believe that you cannot make $1.000.000 dollars in the next 2 years, guess what? You will never make it. And what’s interesting is that even if you believe that you can, you still might not earn that amount, but you will be a lot closer to that $1 mil if you do, right?

10. Let go of postponing things for tomorrow: Sometimes we are terrible at taking action right now, but great at postponing things for tomorrow, the 1st of the month, or next Monday. This connects with the thing we mentioned above: we are mortal human beings. All we have is right now. No one guarantees you tomorrow. I will ask you again: what would you do if this was the last day in your life?

Making money is not easy… duh. But what’s making it harder is the misconceptions we have about money.

Why does it seem that people who really want to make money never do? It has something to do with the misconception we have about money.

The biggest mistake I have ever made was that I was chasing money, and it seemed that I was chasing them away from me. When I finally realized that I should be focusing more on things like quality content, message and marketing, the money came pouring in.

Even after I made 800.000$, I was still unable to really “dig” money, and later on I discovered that I had awful misconception about money and the way I should treat them.

So here are 5 of the biggest misconceptions about money that is blocking you to be financially independent and stay there:

1. Money = Emotion (Wrong)

Let me put it in simpler terms. If you want to make money to feel happy, fulfilled or feel like a big shot, there is a high chance that you won’t make them and higher chance that you won’t sustain them. Oh, and yes. You will never feel those emotions once you make money.

Chasing something physical cannot make you happy or fulfilled. Even if you get them by chasing those emotions, you will feel even more depressed when you realize that you are not a tiny bit happier now that you have them.

We have to realize that anything physical — be it a Rolex or a Bentley — is not going to give us positive emotion on long-term. It’s actually based on science.

At the heart of it all, stuff makes us feel good, and we all love feeling good. Many human behaviors are rewarded with pleasurable feelings (caused by the chemical dopamine). Buying stuff can release those same pleasure chemicals, and for many of us, our natural addiction to feeling good can hence be easily satisfied by buying something.

2. More Money = Less Worries (Wrong)

As a matter of fact, the people with less worries are the bumps you see on the street. They worry about the basic human needs: food, water and shelter. If you want to have less worries, I suggest you to throw all your money away and join them.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I don’t say that if you make money you’ll have 1000x things to worry about and you’ll be overloaded with stress and problems. I am just saying that if your aim is to make money to have less problems, you’ve taken the wrong turn already.

Educating ourselves about finances and the way we should handle them, will make our life easier, but having more money to have less worries is wrong. Here’s why is that: when financially poor people worry about a lot of things in times of hardship, they start to imagine that finances will make it all go away in a blink of an eye, which in fact doesn’t come from a state of abundance, but a state of worry and scarcity.

3. Money = Security (Wrong)

While this can be partially true, money won’t make you secure. Let me explain why is that.

When a person thinks about security, they think about predictability. Humans have the need to know what’s going to happen next. We just can’t stand not knowing about the outcome of our actions.

When we flirt with a man or a woman in a bar, we want to know what they are going to say back, right? “Are we getting declined or accepted as company?” We hate the lack of predicament in the everyday life.

Thinking that money will decrease the predicament is wrong, especially if your security means predicament (which I am 99.9% that it does). Success comes with a price, and one of the cost is taking risks, sometimes higher than the ones we can take. This in turn will decrease the “security” we imagine to get from money. So no. Money is not security in terms of predicament.

4. Money = Debt Free (Wrong)

Having a company comes with a lot of costs. From office space to employees, to gear, digital servers to taxes to a bazillion other things, company will put you in more financial debt and stress if you lack knowledge to sustain and grow it.

And here’s one brilliant example: what’s the difference between someone who makes $50.000 a year with a $100.000 mortgage and someone who makes $500.000 a year with a $1.000.000 million mortgage? Answer: nothing. Unless they have money set aside for emergencies, they’re both a paycheck away from disaster, especially the one with higher mortgage.

Debt often rises with income. What keeps you out of debt isn’t a high income or net worth. It’s not borrowing money.

By aiming to find love with money, you attract people who love money more than love, because that’s your reflection on relationship, love and money. We attract the things we are.

Yes, sometimes having more cash in your pocket can take you to a fancier dinner, but that has nothing to do with love. You can have the loveliest date on a picnic in nature that will probably cost you less than a glass of wine in a fancy restaurant.

Bottom Line – Money = Freedom (CORRECT)

To me, money is freedom. Yes, we can still say that money will make you “shackled” to something that is opposite of freedom, but let me explain.

When you work something out of passion and have a clear vision about the future of it, you reap an extraordinary power to make that thing work. You will educate yourself, practice it, and learn it until you master it. If you can find that job of your dreams, then you’ll truly feel what I am saying (I hope that you already did).

When you set you company and put the chess pieces in place by applying the knowledge, your company will give you the real freedom that we all search in all forms and emotions.

When I sit in a coffee shop with my friends, it’s almost impossible to see everyone around me chatting and having a lovely cup of coffee. Nowadays people stare at the screen All. The. Time.

I can easily say that 90% of the people who go out to socialize (especially in the younger generation) spend the time on their phones instead of socializing in person.

What’s interesting is that there’s nothing really “social” in social network. If you use it the way it’s not meant to be used, it has the potential to steal your time and destroy your life.

I am almost 29 years old, and I am happy to say that I didn’t grow up in a time where social media was omnipresent. Although when I was 13 years old social media platforms increased with rapid speed.

But hey! All is not bad. You can actually use the social media to benefit you.

The way the algorithm works is that you get shown what you’re most interested in. If you click funny cats and dogs you will see funny cats and dogs all day. The same goes for self-improvement. If you click on videos that are truly inspirational, you will be shown ads and videos about self-improvement. If you use that to your benefit, it’s a win-win situation. However, people don’t usually do that.

1. Insecurity is booming

If you follow travel pages and hauntingly beautiful Russian girls on Instagram, when you scroll your feed you’ll realize that your life sucks. All you see is flawless selfies, exotic photos of Maldives, Thailand and Seychelles. And there you are with your phone sitting at home looking at stunning places you haven’t visited. This is the illusion that the social media gives you. It’s a competition: you life sucks, mine doesn’t. I am more beautiful than you. I have more money than you.

The illusion of not having the choice to be that good, make that much money and travel all those places is making you highly insecure and demotivated. Someone is “living your dream” and you don’t.

Then you falsely believe that everything is based on luck, beauty, or money, which will lead you to be desperate and depressed.

2. Major distraction

I don’t know what’s worse: wasting our own precious time that we can never get back, or looking at the lives of other people?

If you don’t create “social” environment on your social media account that will help you grow on personal and professional level, why the hell are you using it? If you truly want to socialize you have 510.1 million km² outside of your home.

The way we see at social media today is like an “easy” fix. If you are bored you just take the phone and open Instagram. Not interested in the conversation you are having with your buddy? Just open TikTok and keep on scrolling.

Again, don’t get me wrong. Social media is brilliant if you use it as you should (we will talk about that in the last part of this article) but if you use it as a form of escapism, or simply to run away from the imperfections of your own life, then you are already in the trap.

If you can’t go a few hours, or a day without it, you are addicted.

Due to the effect that it has on the brain, social media is physical and psychological addition. According to a study by Harvard University, self-disclosure on social networking sites lights up the same part of the brain that also ignites when taking an addictive substance.

When someone experiences something rewarding, or uses an addictive substance, neurons in the primary dopamine-producing areas in the brain are activated, causing dopamine levels to rise. Therefore, the brain receives a “reward” and associates the drug or activity with positive reinforcement.

When you get a notification, such as a like, comment or mention, the brain receives a rush of dopamine and sends it along reward pathways, causing you to feel pleasure.

Social media provides an endless amount of immediate rewards in the form of attention from others for relatively minimal effort. Therefore, the brain rewires itself through this positive reinforcement, making people desire likes, retweets, and emoticon reactions. (Source)

Overusing social media, especially if you have no profit from it, will become a debilitating addiction that will steal your time and life.

For someone who is prone to social anxiety, overusing social media can and will make it worse.

We use social media to connect with others (at least that was the “idea”) but the whole concept of “connecting” with others just doesn’t fit. It doesn’t have real interactions with people.

As much as we believe that we are always connected with each and every person in our life (nowadays even your grandparents have social media) we fail to realize that the more we use it the more we distance from people. Because the truth is that we are “already” connected on social media, right? Even though that’s far from the truth.

The fact is that if you’re spending an excessive amount of time on social media and feelings of sadness, dissatisfaction, frustration, or loneliness are impacting your life, it may be time to re-examine your online habits and find a healthier balance.

Instead, why don’t we connect outside on a bench with a cup of coffee and have real interactions with people that don’t stare at the screens?

Just as I was writing this, I forgot to put away my phone and my Facebook messenger buzzed next to me. I completely lost my focus and forgot what I was trying to write.

The unrestricted usage of social media is having a negative impact on workplace productivity, as employees spend more than 32% of their time on social media every day for personal work, says a study.

We don’t just scroll, like or comment things. We waste the precious time we have on this Earth. I always say this, but we fail to realize that our time is limited. One day it’s all going to end. If you don’t use the time you have to be productive and create something meaningful in your life, you are going to waste it scrolling and imagining things you could’ve had.

How to use social media to your benefit

The algorithm works according to your needs. If you follow people or websites that doesn’t help you grow or be better, it’s your choice that you did that.

Here’s what I propose that you do right now: unfollow every page, company, or public figure that don’t offer you real value that will improve your life. When I did that, I felt like I am leftover from the rest of the world. I am not following new style trends, fashion shows, home decorations or Russian models. But here’s why that’s great: I followed every self-improvement coach and author that give me real value. I also followed influencers that share new things about marketing, dropshipping and things that help me grow my business.

The point is to create a circle that will benefit you most. Don’t consume every “sweet” thing that is posted on social media. Be selective about the things and knowledge that comes in your life. If you suck everything you see or being told about, you will roam aimlessly in fear controlled by the social media and the news.

Create your niche, nurture it, and upgrade yourself every day. That’s how you benefit from social media.

Everyone Wants To Be Happy But No One Asks These 7 Questions

As I was running this morning, I created the perfect scenario in my head: what if everyone was happy? What if everyone was happy by taking action to achieve their personal and financial goals? What if everyone was financially independent and didn’t have the burden of debt and foreclosure?

While that’s an impossible scenario it got me thinking: what do people do to be happy most of their time? How different do they perceive things?

It’s no mistake that our feelings are based on the things we do, but how would you sparkle a desired in someone to take action and chase their dreams?

In my videos, I always speak about the importance of taking action, but I rarely speak about the crucial precedents of taking action in the physical reality.

Some people may have it more natural than others, but this doesn’t mean that we can’t wire ourselves to take action and feel amazing most of the time.

Three people facing the same problem can react completely different. One can be extremely pissed, the second can be a little nervous, and the third can find solution while being enthusiastic in the process. The question is: why can one person react so much different than the others, while having the same exact problem?

“If you want the answer—ask the question.”

The answer lies in the questions

The internal questions we ask ourselves have enormous power and influence over our lives. Let’s take an example: if two people want to lose weight and one succeeds to do so, huge part of it is due to the internal questions they ask themselves. If you ask yourselves “What type of food would make me full?” or “What is the sweetest food I can eat that will make me lose weight?” then you are going to be asserted to eat food with even more sugar and carbs, but if you ask yourselves “What type of food would provide me with the nutrients that I truly need?” or “What type of healthy food should I eat to have more energy?” will assert you to eat healthier food that will result in losing the extra weight.

The same goes for the three people that were facing the same exact problem. They were all feeling different about it based on the question they asked themselves. The extremely pissed dude was probably asking himself “Why am I so unlucky?”. The guy that was little nervous probably asked himself “Why did this happen to me?”, while the third person asked himself “How can I solve this problem while being enthusiastic in the process?”. You will instantly see who can solve the problem, based on these questions.

If we know all this, why don’t we fix the internal questions that we ask ourselves every day?

Yesterday I wrote about the simple trick will instantly make your life 1000x better, but I didn’t cover the questions we should be asking every morning.

The morning is the most important part of the day. It’s part of the day that we wire ourselves to do better or worse. Many of the people (and unfortunately this may include you) ask themselves: what’s new on social media? and then they grab the phones and scroll for 30 minutes straight. The answer to this question is not going to help you on personal or professional level.

Every morning, there’s a simple scheme of questions we should be asking ourselves. These questions will make you happier, thankful and grateful human being every day. This way you can wire yourself to ask better questions that will ease your problem solving formula and enjoy the process. If you have a hard time finding answers, add “can I” in the questions. For example if the questions is “for what am I happy right now?” rephrase it “for what can I be happy right now?”. This should be used only if you can’t find an answer.

  5. In what do I enjoy most in my life right now? What in my life makes me joyful? How does that make me feel?

We can either be our own best friends or our own worst enemies.

Not a single person on earth is the same and that’s the beauty of it.

I frequently ask myself series of questions about my business: “What’s the difference between her/his/their approach that’s making their business better than mine? How can I improve my business to help spread my knowledge with more people around the world?”

I also ask series of questions about my personal development and everything that I stumble upon. You may not realize it, but we keep on asking ourselves questions for each and everything that we encounter.

Your set of beliefs is creating the questions for you. For example if you are pessimist and negative person, you are going to ask yourselves wrong questions that will make you even more pessimistic and negative. The answers to those same questions made you pessimist and negative person in the first place.

Let’s take a simple example: If two people see the same successful person, one person can ask themselves “How did they got so lucky?”. This question will give them answer that won’t benefit them in any way on their personal growth, while the second person can ask “What kind of moves did they make to become successful?”. The second person can really benefit and grow on personal level if he dig even deeper about the true story behind the success of the X person.

Our belief system is the key riddle that will change how we approach things in our life. The perception we have, the questions we ask and the answers we get is the result of our belief system.

Let’s take an extreme example: if a man says that all women are the same, we all know that’s far from the truth. Because of one bad person you can’t judge the whole humanity. This in turn will draw even more bad women around him because he will attract them by asking himself the wrong questions, or even worse, he will never date another woman.

And I’ve seen this way more often then I should. People judge everyone else, sometimes even the entire countries, based on experience of one or two people from that country.

These stereotypes we create for ourselves can truly damage our way of thinking and problem solving by asking ourselves the wrong questions and getting wrong answers.

How Can We Implement The Simple Trick Will Instantly Improve Our Life

No matter what type of belief system you have right now, I can guarantee you that you can improve it by applying this simple trick.

The way you are right now (pessimist or optimist) is the set of questions you were asking in the past. In order to change that, we have to change our questions. First let me ask you few questions. Read them, stop, and think about them for a minute:

  1. What are some of the most precious moments in my life?
  2. Can I recall them right now and grasp the feeling I was having back then?
  3. What is the best thing about my life right now?

Did they instantly make you feel good? If you truly did them the way you should, they would instantly make you happier.

The thing is that the questions we ask have the power to immediately change the way we feel. If I ask you what’s the worst thing that happened to you we both know that the question won’t make you feel good, right?

In the beginning, you may have to force yourself to ask yourself positive questions because if you are pessimist, you are not going to come up with questions that will make you better on personal and professional level.

The trick I use is that I always try to get the positive benefit out of a situation.

My granddad passed away recently during a surgery, and while I instantly asked myself “Why is life so unfair?”, I had to make a different approach. I asked myself “Which were some of the best moments we had together?” and “What was he so grateful for?” because from these questions I can feel good about his life, instead of getting depressed by the whole situation.

We can master ourselves and we have that power. The only thing that’s blocking you from mastering yourself is your belief that you can’t. We all know we shouldn’t watch Netflix all day, or eat unhealthy most of the time, or waste our time on social media, and yet most of the people still do it. Maybe it’s time to bite your tongue and ask yourself different questions: “How can this benefit me in 1-3-5 years from now?”. The answer is clear to most of us, but we need to ask the right questions.

5 Extraordinary Things Successful People Do Every Day

When I had few buck in my pocket I was frustrated. What’s ever worse is that I wanted to make cash instantly which evoked an old habit of mine, gambling. I used to bet on sports and prayed that I would make my get-rich-quick wish come true. I had a completely bogus mindset, and little did I know that success takes time and strenuous effort.

When you hit the rock bottom you have 2 options: either you will stay there and go below it by acquiring worse habits than you already have, or attach your current situation with so much pain, that the only option you have is to rise like a phoenix from the ashes.

Success can mean many things to each individual, and that is completely ok as long as you accomplish your aim or purpose. However, each one of us have to make sacrifices to achieve success on personal and professional level.

For example, if you want to lose weight you will have to make the sacrifice of not eating whenever you feel like, and perform physical activity. Or if you want to create a successful company you have to abstain from the quick pleasures, like staying out late on a Monday night, or watching 10 episodes straight on Netflix.

Rather than making sacrifices, why don’t we become people who don’t need to make these sacrifices and become people who will enjoy doing these things, especially these 5 below:

1. Prepare for the day

When a person has no plan, he is lost. Long-term success doesn’t happen based on luck, coincidence and accident. It happens based on plan, action and execution.

The most fascinating thing is that we have the utmost control to change how we feel, what we do and get the desired results. We are powerful beyond measure and it’s truly sad to see these capable human beings being consumed by the false reality of the social networks and entertainment industry. They watch funny cat’s and dogs and then get depressed when they have no results based on their actions.

I would love to tell you a fancy story about how easy it is, but it’s not. The fact is that it will be hard, very hard, before it gets easy. And it will get easier because you will create the mindset and neural patterns to control your life based on your actions.

I really give effort to write these articles and help people, but I cannot help you unless you suck this knowledge and help yourself.

2. Create False Reality

Whoa, whoa. Hold your horses, let me explain first:

False means “not according with truth or fact; incorrect.” Now let me explain some more.

Being realistic can be the most toxic thing you can ever do, because the reality in my particular case was that I had few bucks, gambling habit and no skill. Where would that reality lead me?

I can tell you right away. It would lead me to miserable gambler with no moral compass, family, and lot of debt.

I will get back to what we mentioned earlier: we are powerful beyond measure. When it comes to creating a reality that doesn’t exist, we have incredible ability to make it happen. The power of our imagination can create something before it exists and by having the utmost power to change our life, we can make that reality feasible.

I know… some of you may have been through a lot of failure and terrible accidents and I know that this may be a far-fetched tale, but I can guarantee you that when you accept this as a fact, you can change your life by creating a false reality (one that’s still not true) and make it happen by plan action and execution.

3. Harness the power of your actions

Let’s start one simple fact: motion determines emotion. If you lie in bed, scroll through the social media and look at the ceiling, you are not going to feel good. Maybe for 5 minutes you will, but long-term you will start to get depressed. Here’s why:

Our physiology is made to be in movement. We have evolved through thousands of years by constant movement. When you don’t take action, you turn so much to yourself that it becomes toxic. Overthinking and negativity will creep on you because your brain will start to create negative stories. Taking action on the other side will portray your personal skill with the world. When we use our energy to help others and create better world for everyone, we feel really great, right?

Today you can even achieve success by sitting on your computer all day, but you are not going to be healthy and significantly reduce the quality of your life. The way I do it is that I exercise 5-6 times a week (you don’t have to be this brutal) to balance for the time I sit on my computer.

By taking action to fulfill your goals and vision, you pave imaginative reality. But pay attention: you pave it. You make it real by taking massive levels of action.

If you want to make 100$ today, you will have to do a set of actions. You can write articles for someone, create videos online, work in Mcdonalds… you get my point. You must take some action to get monetary value in return.

We have the power to imagine and create and instead of 100$, dare to visualize more and approach things differently.

4. Avoid the marshmallows

Who can avoid a sweet tongue-melting marshmallow? Some kids could, some couldn’t.

In the 1960s, a Stanford professor named Walter Mischel began conducting a series of important psychological studies.

During his experiments, Mischel and his team tested hundreds of children — most of them around the ages of 4 and 5 years old — and revealed what is now believed to be one of the most important characteristics for success in health, work, and life.

The experiment began by bringing each child into a private room, sitting them down in a chair, and placing a marshmallow on the table in front of them.

The researcher told the child that he was going to leave the room and that if the child did not eat the marshmallow while he was away, then they would be rewarded with a second marshmallow. However, if the child decided to eat the first one before the researcher came back, then they would not get a second marshmallow.

So the choice was simple: one treat right now or two treats later.

The researcher left the room for 15 minutes.

As you can imagine, the footage of the children waiting alone in the room was rather entertaining. Some kids jumped up and ate the first marshmallow as soon as the researcher closed the door. Others wiggled and bounced and scooted in their chairs as they tried to restrain themselves, but eventually gave in to temptation a few minutes later. And finally, a few of the children did manage to wait the entire time.

Published in 1972, this popular study became known as The Marshmallow Experiment, but it wasn’t the treat that made it famous. The interesting part came years later.

The Power of Delayed Gratification

As the years rolled on and the children grew up, the researchers conducted follow up studies and tracked each child’s progress in a number of areas. What they found was surprising.

The children who were willing to delay gratification and waited to receive the second marshmallow ended up having higher SAT scores, lower levels of substance abuse, lower likelihood of obesity, better responses to stress, better social skills as reported by their parents, and generally better scores in a range of other life measures. The researchers followed each child for more than 40 years and over and over again, the group who waited patiently for the second marshmallow succeed in whatever capacity they were measuring. In other words, this series of experiments proved that the ability to delay gratification was critical for success in life.

And if you look around, you’ll see this playing out everywhere…

  • If you delay the gratification of watching television and get your homework done now, then you’ll learn more and get better grades.
  • If you delay the gratification of buying desserts and chips at the store, then you’ll eat healthier when you get home.
  • If you delay the gratification of finishing your workout early and put in a few more reps, then you’ll be stronger. [source]

Bottom line: if you want to be successful, have the power of self-control to delay your gratification.

5. Know that you don’t know

This oxymoron is really important.

Knowing everything is impossible. Even if you think you know everything, the power of surprise will strike you when you least expect it.

Knowing you don’t know is actually really important to learn even more. The questions we ask ourselves when we don’t know something is making us learn even more on that subject. Every time you learn something new you get closer to something you still don’t know that you don’t know.

This endless loop will make you an expert in everything in life. If you want to lose weight and start learning about the calories you take, you will pay closer attention to what you eat. If you want to build a website, the first step is to look for a simple answer “How to build a website” on Google or YouTube and start from there.

The not knowing evolved us in this point in time. A dude had a vision to skip the physical letters and made the phone. Two brothers wanted to fly in the sky and made the first airplane. These things were not invented by knowing first. They were invented by not knowing and figuring out the answers.

You still see it today that technology is improving as we speak. The TV you buy today will be worse than the one that will come out next year. Same goes for your phone and every single piece of technology. Same goes for science, medicine etc. These things will never be in final form because people will never have all the answers.

Here’s Why You Tend To Click More Fearmongering News Than This Brilliant Article

Pay attention. This may be the most important article you read online.

When I first started writing online, my articles were rarely getting traction. I was really frustrated. I thought I was writing brilliant headings like “Beauty and Confidence” or “Why Building Your Potential Is Important?”. Little did I know a catchy heading and picture, or most important, negative news can go viral beyond measure when you connect the three.

I was still young and inexperienced. I was writing simple headings with positive news for months with no traction. When frustration kicked in, I had to dig in more and find out why all of my articles plummeted with brilliant self-help information’s in them. I found something very interesting.

Then I started testing headings: “Julia Roberts gives a great advice you should hear” does a lot worse than “SHOCKING! – Julia Roberts made a SERIOUS Threat to all Beauty Companies by Posting THIS Photo and Writing…” (with the same exact article inside). It was in a short period of time that my articles started to skyrocket in the algorithm.

The way most algorithms work is that they show what people tend to click the most. For example: if I share this article, and if 900 out 1000 people that scroll through Facebook stop and interact with this article it will show it to another 1000, 10.000 or even 100.000 people. That means that the article has a high chance of going viral. Of course, it all depends where you share it. A Facebook Page with 100 likes cannot make your article go viral. It’s not going to be shown to many people, no matter what type of heading do you have. I am telling you all this so you can understand the whole picture. Stay with me.

The way you make something viral is the perfect combination of heading, picture and content. Picture stops you, heading evokes interest, and content makes you share it. As simple as that.

Now, let’s quick jump on why you tend to click more fearmongering news than something positive. It’s very simple.

People either run away from fear, or chase pleasure. These 2 things (which I wrote about in a previous article) control almost everything that you do. The fear factor is one of the biggest marketing trick in politics and sales, but let’s not dig into that. Let’s stick to your wellbeing for a second.

Fear is a mechanism to protect us from potential damage. That is why we mostly fear things we think will bring us harm, such as spiders, snakes or even ghosts. Fear makes us avoid these things as much as possible.

Now, fear is very important because it also helps protect us. It makes us alert to danger and prepares us to deal with it. Feeling afraid is very natural and helpful in some situations. Fear can be like a warning, a signal that cautions us to be careful.

Now here comes the bad news: the marketeers and politicians know this and they use it to control you. When was the last time you saw something positive on the News? Why don’t they say about someone who recently had a successful business, or an act of bravery of a man that saved a little kid from a burning building? You will never hear this on the News because this doesn’t favor anyone but you.

Be honest: what would you click more “5 Ways Your Life Could Be In Real Danger” or “5 Ways To Improve Your Life”? You are drawn to click something that could cause you potential harm so you will be cautions to protect yourself from it.

The marketeers, even myself, use this to grab your attention. I could write the same article in the first heading and in the second. I could start by explaining that your life will be really stressful that may lead to health detrimental effect if you don’t do these 5 things that will actually improve your life. I can help you with both headings, but I can get more people to view the article with the fearmongering heading. But what actually happens is that marketeers know that by writing “shocking” heading and even more fearmongering news inside the article will really make it viral. That’s why fearful news tend to be more viral and global. Just look at what’s happening with the current pandemic. It is really dangerous situation, but if you follow the protective guidelines, what more can you do? All those fearmongering news won’t help you more than the protective measures. It may sound selfish and “irresponsible” but I am 100% sure you are not going to feel better and even safer if you surround yourself with all that is bad in the world.

I told you all this so next time you scroll the feed you can stand for yourself. Don’t be a sheep to the marketeers or politicians. Have your own opinion based on your gut feeling.

5 Things You Must Do To Uncover The Endless Potential That Is Slowly Dying In You

We are all limitless. Just like the pill Bradley Cooper swallows in the movie “Limitless”, we have endless potential resting inside us. But here comes the problem: we are so attached to laziness and comfort that we fail to realize that we need to do a lot crucial steps to take that potential inside out. That’s why we are easily consumed by the entertainment industry. If we want a hot meal on our lap we will order Dominos and it will be on the doorstep in less than 30 minutes. Easy-peasy.

Now more than ever, we have the biggest freedom of choice.

I’ve said this in one of my videos and I will say it again: I don’t really care that you use your freedom to play video games all day. I don’t care if you scroll on your smartphone through each and every social network, watching fun cats and dogs. I don’t care if you watch Netflix all day and just chill with few cans of beer and Doritos. What really grinds my gears is when you complain that you don’t have the job of your dreams, when you are not achieving your goals, that your life is not exciting, or that your life is not going according to your plan and as a result you are starting to be depressed.

I firmly believe, and I am a living proof that we have the utmost power to change our situation, no matter how hard it gets. We have the utmost power to get out of poverty and make millions. We have the utmost power lo leave a toxic relationship and shift our life 180 degrees for the better. We have the utmost power to stop being depressed in a blink of an eye. By doing the things I mentioned above, you will get depressed because depression is lacking the meaning of life. If you do nothing for a longer period of time, being depressed is inevitable. Also, giving your whole life to another person may result in depression if the other person leaves you.

There are many more ways you can be affected by depression, but I can almost guarantee you that if you have a clear goal which will consist of improving yourself and the people around you, you will never have a problem with depression again.

Our lack of direction, laziness and unfinished tasks is the foundation of permanent failure.

Everything can be changed in a blink of an eye, and that starts with your decision to get that resting potential out of you and paint the whole world with it.

Here are 5 things you must do to uncover the endless potential that is slowly dying in you:

1. Fix your thoughts

At first, this may seem like the most crappy thing to say to a person. However, this is the first and most powerful stepping stone in setting the pillars to shift your life.

When I first started mindfulness meditation, I was trying to calm myself. Little did I know that mediation and calmness were 2 different worlds (although after a while you will get calmer as a result of what I am about to say).

When I sat in those 15 minutes every morning, I was completely shocked to observe my thoughts. I came to a realization that I was obsessing myself with people and things that I haven’t see for months or even years! Here’s exactly what I thought about: “what did she mean when she said I won’t come with you? Okay why he didn’t wave me back yesterday? Maybe he was nervous because I didn’t greet him the other day. Okay I have to buy almond milk and taste it”. This was the thought pattern I had when I first started meditation. How on earth are you going to achieve greatness if you think irrelevant thoughts every 7 seconds? That’s just not possible. And I can almost guarantee that this is the thought pattern of 99% of the people in this world.

Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become your character.
And watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.

Try whatever habit suits your needs. Mindfulness meditation and few other strange habits helped me build my foundation of my thought pattern first so I could manifest them in physical reality.

Just please (I am begging you here) look at your own thoughts more than you look at others. This is the only path to discover your true self and make a drastic change within you.

2. Find your direction

Many of us roam aimlessly like nomads. I have personally asked everyone around me and only 3 out of 100 people have a sense of where they want to be in the next 5-10 years.

Most people live day by day. They don’t invest in themselves, nor in their financial freedom. Everything they know and live by is a mix-up of “he said she said” from those around them.

It’s really strange to me why people act like they are going to live forever? The most brutal and inspirational thing I’ve heard was “you are going to die and you don’t know when.” When I first heard this years ago, I couldn’t lie down and rest. I was forcing myself to do a lot more every day because the brutal truth is that we are all going to die one day. It is our obligation to leave positive mark on this world and leave it a bit better than before.

To find how we are going to do that takes a lot of trial and error. You are never born with a direction. You must jump from one job to another and never settle by any means necessary. When you find your purpose, the job you were “created” to work, your whole self will know it immediately.

When I first found out about the limitless potential online, and how many things you can connect and share your vision with the world, I was blown away!

So by any means necessary, never settle until you find the one job that will truly unlock your endless potential in you.

3. Take massive levels of action

We are very fluffy when it comes to action. Do 30 minutes of focused work and you are tired and distracted.

The brain is also a muscle like your biceps. The more you do it, the better you perform it. If you put yourself in the shoes of Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk for a week, I can guarantee you 2 things: heart attack and stroke. We are not on that level to put up with all that stress, obligation and action.

Motion determines emotion. If you want to destroy overthinking or even depression, the best cure is to do.

Humans were made to move. There are so many detrimental health effects of not moving, but today’s technology is moving so swiftly that we mostly lead sedentary lifestyle due to work. Overtime this can completely destroy our health and wellbeing.

By taking action, massive levels of action we are slowly digging our endless potential and we let it shine with the world. We must focus more on the external things in order to make our internal things better. This means that we must take action and put our skill out in the world in order to improve ourselves on personal and professional level. If you want to lose weight you are not going to lose by “thinking” about it. You are losing weight by eating less calories than you spend. If you want to improve your fitness level you exercise. You don’t think about exercising. Every change you want to make requires you to do stuff instead of thinking about doing.

When we focus too much internally we become consumed with ourselves. This can become really damaging because we are social creatures. When we focus externally we let our light shine with those around us by giving, sharing and helping others.

I highly suggest you to read 10X by uncle G. It will reveal to you the crucial importance of taking 10x more action. It is simply a brilliant book for anyone who want to do a lot more with the short time we are given on this Earth.

4. Don’t go by your emotions, understand them

On the road to your personal and professional fulfillment, you will be stressed, afraid, frustrated, anxious and what not. You are not going to be positive 24/7, or excited all the time.

There will be obstacles on the way that will frustrate the sh*t out of you, but it will require your persistence in order to overcome them. We can only continue and persist under difficult circumstances only if we tie our actions to a grand goal, or a vision.

Long time ago I heard a very successful dude say: your vision should be something that you cannot complete so it will push you to do a lot more than you goal.

For example: if you are in the weight loss industry your vision should be to make everyone fit. That is just impossible. But your goal should be something that you can achieve, for example: 1000 people fit thanks to your mentorship program.

Your road to success will be filled with many many negative emotions that will try to pull you down. Frustrations and stress are the most common that will eventually kill your short term motivation. In order to understand your emotions you will have to understand only one thing: you either run away from fear, or try to get quick pleasure. Let me give you a simple example:

If you have extra pounds (let’s just assume that) you are getting short term pleasure from the extra calories you take through the day. To lose the extra pounds you will have to go through hardship and stressful cravings to get long term pleasure of your fit body and more energy. Your emotions will tell you to grab that chocolate next to you because the more you do something, the more you strengthen the bond between the physical action and your brain. This is called neuroplasticity, and it’s actually brilliant. The more you do a simple task, the more it becomes ‘wired’ in your brain. So if you exercise every day you will get bound to it and it will get easier the more you do it. But this also means that if you eat chocolate every day, the more you will do it. The choice is yours.

You should understand your emotions. Not live by them.

5. Master your skill and update it

The last step is to master the skill. Whatever it is that you want to be in your life, you have to master it and update it consistently.

Especially if you are working online. In my case, Facebook algorithm has changed so many times that I couldn’t go a day without learning something new, or else I won’t keep up with the changes and be able to profit from it.

This goes for anything. Whether you’re in professional sports, marketing, or managing a website, you have to master it and update it every day.

We have to be better all the time. That’s how we grow. It’s okay to go one step back as long as you do three steps forward.

I personally made this mistake and it cost me a LOT. I created a business that was generating me enormous amount of money (one month I made 54.000$ which I speak more about in my course) and I was working 1 hour a day without upgrading the business and adding new branches to it. Then all of a sudden the algorithm changed and my business model completely collapsed like a house of cards. Then I had to find another way to do it and I did, but I potentially lost million bucks in two years because I thought I made it till the end line (which was one the biggest mistake I have made).

If you do something and follow these steps above, you are going to make it. I can guarantee you that. But the story doesn’t stop there. You have to improve it every day and grow it. Nurture it. If your energy is not into it, it will die eventually. No matter if it’s business, skill, or even a language.

Motivational speaker Jim Rohn famously said that we are the average of the 5 people we spend the most time with.

If you are surrounded with negativity and pessimism, do not expect any different outcome from your life. Same goes for positivity and optimism: if you surround yourself with people that push you to do great things, you have a higher chance to achieve great things.

Many people know this. And yet they never seem to change their circle. Even if they do, they forget to put in the equation a very important variable = family.

I know. Some people may look at me like a villain now, but I am saying this for all the right reasons.

Here’s how you can spot a toxic person, or an energy vampire and stay away from toxic people altogether:

They spread negativity in every form

If you really pay attention to the conversation between you and your toxic friends/family, you will start to notice the dark thoughts you are getting attacked from. How the government is stealing, how the weather is bad, or how every successful story was a strike of luck and overnight success… these are the common types of conversations you will hear.

They Only gossip

When was the last time a hearsay helped you become a better person, or improve your skill on your job? I can almost guarantee the answer would be “Never” to both questions. Toxic friends tend to gossip about each and everything, as long as it involves something other than themselves. When you think about it, saying something bad about another person tells a lot about you, instead of them. Never engage in hearsay conversations. Be fully conscious about what you speak and engage in from now on. This will save you a decades of wasted time.

They are draining you

If you still don’t believe in vibration and positivity, just sit with a toxic person and engage with them in a conversation for 1 hour. When they leave, you’ll almost feel as if your soul essence has left your body. I have personally been a part of these types of conversations and I really had no meaning of life afterwards. Not only that you shouldn’t engage with toxic people, but you should even avoid them for your own personal safety.

They get jealous.. a lot!

You found a new job? “Congratulations!” (followed by an evil professor smile)”I am so happy for you!” Who are you kidding? They will never give you a true support to lift your emotions higher, not to mention that they will never celebrate your victories truly from their soul. If they are not part of it, who cares, right?

They hate when you disagree with them

Ok, sometimes we have to stand our ground. If you agree with everything, then what the hell do you stand for? However, toxic friends tend to hate when you don’t engage “in the hate” with them. If you don’t agree that the government is responsible for your failures, and that you can actually pick your life and become a successful story no matter the circumstance, they get even more frustrated. They get furious, and they may even leave. If you don’t support their negative thinking, it’s you who’s wrong.

Let’s face it. In one single day you have limited time and energy. That’s why we sleep every night. To refresh the brain and bodies and start all over again (along with many scientific reasons ‘why we sleep’).

Your life depends on how you allocate your time and energy. Every morning I practice some unusual habits that lift me up even more and give me more energy. Then I start taking action according to my goals. If I engage in every negative conversation, watch the news all day and scroll on Facebook and Instagram, how on Earth am I going to be successful? I can easily say that being successful after doing these things mentioned goes against all the laws of nature and science.

It’s really, really important to take care of your own self. That is not selfish, but on the contrary. If you feel in control of your own self and do the things that you love, then you can share that love around you with your loved ones, friends and family. Think of it like this: “what if you felt love when you gave it”? That was awesome quote I heard today and it really inspired me to be the best dude I can ever be and help people as much as I can.

Bottom line is: what if you can limit, or delete the time you spend with your toxic friends and family? Then you can really focus on spending time to improve your life and surround yourself with great people that will lift you up instead of put you down. Isn’t that the truth?
